About MeHello and Welcome!!
My name is Marsha Sortino, the gal in the middle of this picture and I'm happy to share my story with you all. I am a free spirited woman reinventing myself, an outcome of a unique and painful separation, and finally paying attention to who I am, why I do things, and what I really care about. My strengths lie in my love of people, ability to listen, to write, and to gain wisdom with a gentle and quiet spirit. Every morning brings a smile to my face and cheerfully I gather my strength to move forward tackling problems working my way through and around obstacles. I make time to meditate, to eat cautiously and healthily, and am occasionally tempted by bouts of ice cream, especially my favorite, jamocha almond fudge. I lived a majority of my life in Hawaii before moving to the mainland. I am am embarking on a new chapter in my life, moving to Boston and starting over once again in December 2010. I look forward to this new journey with very high hopes and dreams. After all, you never let go of your dreams. I love to travel, to taste different foods, to experiment with cooking, to read a good book, to dance, to sing, and basically to explore life. I want to learn new things and discover the joys in my life every day. Life is an adventure, not just a pathway to an end. Yes!! My life is colorful, rich, and I am immensely blessed today because I invested in myself first. I am an Entrepreneur teaching professional development classes at Pay Me What I Am Worth through Soul University. I am in two teams right now. As a student, my team is called Team Clarity. As a teacher in training, my team decided to be collectively known as Team Seekers. I am also the Director of Professional Development for NSDF (National Seizure Disorders Foundation). |
